Storm

The 3-year-old male Siberian husky was picked up in Surprise as a stray. Our medical team immediately suspected he was suffering from Valley fever because of the limp in his back legs after an x-ray confirmed there was no injury. Thanks to Hope Emergency Animal Rescue, bloodwork confirmed the diagnosis and we were able to start him on fluconazole. One of our New Hope partners agreed to take him on and he was rescued through the group where we hear he has found a new home and has recovered. Thank you, HEAR!
