Found Dogs

Two stray dogs found in an area of Scottsdale both had the same issues – mites! Thankfully, our relationship with Hope Emergency Animal Rescue quickly got them the treatment they needed and both found new hope through partner rescue organizations. One dog, a 2-year-old Chinese shar-pei mix was a friendly guy on intake, but once our staff noted skin issues and tests came back positive for Demodex, an itchy, scaly skin issue that is caused by mites and he was treated immediately. The same was true for his buddy, a 2-year-old pit-bull terrier. They both were transferred to rescue groups were they could continue medical treatment and get the TLC they needed and find new families.
